An air diffuser to oxygenate the water in the aquarium

This Zolux air diffuser connects to an air pump (also called a bubbler).
It converts the air from the pump into a curtain of fine bubbles.

The bubbles introduce oxygen into the water and circulate the water throughout the tank.
Your fish will benefit from better-oxygenated, more evenly circulated water.

The diffuser is rectangular and measures 12.5 x 2 cm.
It has a connector for a 4/6 mm air tube (4 mm inner diameter, 6 mm outer diameter).

Its flat shape fits easily at the bottom of the tank, behind a rock or a plant.

Installation

Connect the diffuser to the air pump using a 4/6 mm air tube.
Place the diffuser at the bottom of the tank, preferably behind the decorations.
Place the pump above the water level, or add a check valve.

ℹ️ Good to know: Over time, limescale and deposits can clog the diffuser’s pores. The bubbles will then become larger and fewer in number—this is a sign that it needs to be cleaned or replaced.

⭐ Tip from the team: Rinse the diffuser with clean water every 2 to 3 months, without soap or detergent. A check valve between the pump and the diffuser prevents water from flowing back into the pump in the event of a power outage.
