Two filter foams and two different screen structures for the mechanical and biological filtration of your aquarium

2 DIFFERENT STRUCTURES FOR PROGRESSIVE FILTRATION.

An open structure filtration foam, DUO-MOUSS® is the combination of 2 totally neutral polyester foams specially developed for the biomechanical filtration of aquariums.

The structure of the cells has been studied to retain impurities without clogging.

The strong structure foam (10 ppi) is used for mechanical pre-filtration (to be cleaned every week), the fine structure foam (30 ppi) is intended to be colonized by bacterial fauna (biological filtration) and must be cleaned every 6 to 8 weeks.

The manufacturing process used guarantees a material of total neutrality and incomparable efficiency.

DUO-MOUSS'® is recommended for all types of filtration, for freshwater and seawater aquariums, or for fish tanks.

USE :

- Adapt the format of the foam to the size of the filter, if necessary cutting it with a ham knife or, better, with an electric knife.

Always place the foam with a strong structure upstream of the filter, so that it retains large impurities. Then place the additional filtering masses

(coal, resins...) and end with the fine-structured foam (downstream of the water circuit)

- Rinse the foams well with lukewarm water before use.

TIPS :

In order to preserve the biological balance of the aquarium and keep the bacterial strain operational, do not clean both foams at the same time,

possibly alternate over a period of a few days.
