PVC Degreaser: Essential Preparation Before Bonding
This Flowdians cleaner, also known as a PVC stripper, prepares rigid PVC pipes and fittings immediately before bonding. It cleans, degreases, and chemically prepares the PVC surface so that the adhesive forms a strong, leak-proof bond.
It is a very pure ketone-based solvent: less than 0.2% water and aromatic hydrocarbons. It has strong degreasing power and does not damage rigid PVC.

Description
Why should you clean PVC before gluing it?
PVC adhesive works by cold welding: it softens the surface of the two pieces, which fuse together. If the surface is greasy, dusty, or too smooth, the weld will not form properly and the joint may leak.
The cleaner removes grease and dirt and chemically prepares the surface of the pipe and fitting. The adhesive can then form a perfect bond.

Ketone-based solvent, with a water and aromatic hydrocarbon content of less than 0.2%. Specific gravity: approximately 0.80 g/mL.

ℹ️ Good to Know
This cleaner does not damage rigid PVC. It is not a substitute for a thinner: do not use it to thin adhesive. Highly flammable product: keep away from open flames and heat sources.
⭐ Tip from the team
Always purchase the cleaner along with the adhesive. For example, for 100 bonds with a 50 mm diameter, allow for approximately 0.9 L of cleaner and 1.5 L of adhesive. Close the bottle tightly after use.
