A Comprehensive Home Treatment Against Pests

The Habitat insecticide diffuser (also known as a “fogger”) is an aerosol that empties completely on its own.
The product spreads throughout the entire room and reaches hard-to-reach corners that are difficult to treat by hand.

Dual action: adult pests, then eggs and larvae

Permethrin acts immediately on insects and mites, and its effect lasts over time.
S-methoprene is a larvicide and ovicide: it prevents flea eggs and larvae from developing for 1 month.
New fleas hatching from eggs already present in the home are therefore also prevented from developing.

What pests?

• Fleas: adults, eggs, and larvae.
• Mites.
• Flying and crawlinginsects.

What area should be treated?

A 150-ml diffuser treats a volume of approximately 90 m³, or about 40 m² of floor space.
Example: A 40 m² room with a ceiling height of 2.25 m has a volume of 90 m³.
Do not use the diffuser in a space smaller than 2 m³.

Instructions for Use

Before Treatment

• Turn off all running electrical appliances, extinguish all open flames, and turn off all heat sources (water heaters, etc.).
• Close windows, interior doors, and cabinets.
• Remove food and kitchen utensils.
• Turn off the aquarium pump and filter, then carefully cover the aquariums.
• Remove children and pets from the area.
• Cover furniture, fragile items, and plants.

During treatment

Place the diffuser in the center of the room, high up, at least 1 meter away from furniture and walls.
Press the tab until it locks into place: diffusion begins.
Leave the room and close the door.
The diffuser empties completely on its own.

After treatment

Wait 3 hours for the product to penetrate, then ventilate the room for 1 hour.
A thin, greasy film may form on the floors: wash the floors thoroughly after treatment.

When should you repeat the treatment?

Wait 6 months between treatments.
In case of a severe infestation, repeat the treatment 2 weeks after the first one.

Ingredients and Precautions for Use

Composition

• Piperonyl butoxide: 3.9 g/kg
• Permethrin: 5 g/kg
• S-methoprene: 0.5 g/kg
• Pyrethrum flower extract (Tanacetum cinerariifolium, obtained using supercritical CO₂): 0.8 g/kg
• D-trans-tetramethrin: 0.05 g/kg

Biocidal product, preparation type: aerosol generator (AE).
TP 18: insecticides, acaricides, and products used to control other arthropods.

Precautions for Use

• Danger: Extremely flammable aerosol. Pressurized container: may burst when exposed to heat.
• May cause skin allergy. Causes severe eye irritation.
• Very toxic to aquatic organisms, with long-term adverse effects: avoid release into the environment.
• Do not use on animals. Do not exceed the recommended dosage: follow the specified treatment volume.
• Do not spray onto a flame or other source of ignition. Do not smoke.
• Do not puncture or burn the aerosol can, even when empty.
• Avoid inhaling the aerosol. Ventilate well after use.
• Skin contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
• If medical attention is needed, have the aerosol can or label available.

Storage

Keep out of reach of children.
Store only in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C.
Dispose of the contents and the aerosol can in accordance with local regulations.
