This complete analysis chamber head is the central component of the EMEC ECL6 open amperometric measurement cell.
It provides continuous measurement of free chlorine in the water and serves as a mounting point for the controller’s pH and Redox (Rx) probes.
When installed in the analysis circuit, it ensures reliable and continuous monitoring of pool water quality, which is essential for accurate automatic dosing of treatment chemicals.
New replacement part, designed to replace a worn-out head on an existing EMEC ECL6 system.

Tip from the team: For stable measurements, maintain a constant analysis water flow rate of approximately 40 L/h and keep the water pH between 6 and 8. After reassembly, allow the cell to polarize for about 2 hours before relying on the displayed values.

An open amperometric cell for measuring disinfectant

The EMEC ECL6 cell measures free chlorine—both organic and inorganic—as well as bromine, using a two-electrode amperometric principle.
This “open” technology offers a fast response time and accurate measurements, enabling precise control of automatic disinfectant dosing.
