Description
Phenol red is used for pH measurement.
The tablet produces characteristic color changes when dissolved in the water sample.
The pH is important for the disinfecting effect of water care products.
It can also lead to corrosion or deposits, thus damaging materials.
Lovibond® tablets contain thiosulfate to compensate for the disruptive influence of chlorine on measurements during pool water analysis.
In addition, the carbonate values, temperature and buffering capacity of the water sample can influence the measurement and must therefore also be monitored.
The Rapid dissolving tablet has been designed for use in rapid tests such as Pooltester, Test Kits or Comparators.
