A New Post to Repair the Cat Tree

This Trixie post replaces a scratched or damaged post on a cat tree.
It measures 9 cm in diameter and 70 cm in height.

The post is covered in sisal (a natural, durable plant fiber).
Cats can sharpen their claws on it instead of damaging furniture.

Assembly uses an M8 thread (8 mm diameter screws).
The threaded rods and 2 screws are included.

It provides your cat with a stable surface to stretch and maintain its claws.
A post in good condition makes the cat tree safer and more appealing.

Before ordering, measure the height and diameter of the post you want to replace.
The included threaded rods connect the post to the cat tree’s platforms.

Assembly and Use

Replacing a Worn Post

Unscrew the old post, then screw the new one into the same spot using the included threaded rods.
Make sure your cat tree has an M8 thread before ordering.

Why Replace a Post

A heavily scratched post loses material and becomes less sturdy.
Replacing it extends the life of the entire cat tree without having to buy a whole new one.

Choosing the Right Height

This model is 70 cm tall and 9 cm in diameter.
Compare it to your current post: the height determines the space between two platforms.

Key Features

Natural finish that cats love
Easy replacement—no special tools required
Standard M8 threading found on Trixie cat trees
Threaded rods and screws included

ℹ️ Good to know: The weight capacity of a cat tree depends on its use, assembly, and installation. Trixie therefore does not specify a maximum weight in kilograms.

⭐ Tip from the team: Regularly check the stability of the cat tree and the wear on the posts. For a large, heavy cat, opt for a sturdier XXL model.
