3" (80x90) PVC male threaded pipe for wall penetration and plumbing connections, PN 16 - length 150 mm images
This male-threaded PVC-U pipe with a 3" (80x90) pitch and BSPP cylindrical gas thread is threaded along its entire length. It is used to create a wall penetration (for a basin, tank, or reservoir) or to connect two 3" female-threaded fittings.
PN 16 – length 150 mm – inner diameter 76.5 mm.
Connection via threads only: the 76.5 mm internal diameter does not correspond to a standard PVC pipe diameter, so a pipe cannot be glued inside it.
ACS-certified fitting (Certificate of Sanitary Conformity, water intended for human consumption). Installs with a flat gasket. Sold individually.
The threaded pipe (also called a threaded coupling by plumbing professionals) is a PVC-U fitting with a male thread running its entire length.
It is designed for wall penetrations: the manufacturer specifies that it be installed with a flat gasket. It can also connect two fittings with 3" (80x90) female threads.
The manufacturer intends its line of PVC-U screw-on fittings forwater supply, irrigation, watering, and swimming pool systems. Examples of uses for the threaded pipe:
ℹ️ Good to Know
For wall penetrations, the manufacturer offers a flat gasket (Codital part no. 5006) and a wall-penetration nut (Codital part no. 5015) in the same product line; these are sold separately. The designation “80x90” corresponds to a 3" gas thread: make sure the parts to be connected have the same pitch. Connection via thread only: the 76.5 mm internal diameter does not match that of a standard PVC pipe, so a pipe cannot be glued inside.
⭐ Tip from the team
For screw-on fittings, wrap PTFE (Teflon) tape around the threads in the direction of screwing, then tighten by hand without applying excessive force: PVC cannot withstand excessive tightening.
3" male thread, also marked 80x90 (BSPP cylindrical gas thread).
Length 150 mm, inner diameter 76.5 mm, weight 243 g.
No. The 76.5 mm inner diameter does not match a standard PVC pipe diameter: this threaded fitting connects only via its male thread to components with a 3" female thread.
Its nominal pressure is PN 16.
