Sweep Hose with Brush - Polaris 180, 280, 380, 480 Pool Cleaner - Zodiac W7230204
Complete sweep hose with brush for Polaris 180, 280, 380, and 480 pool cleaners
Genuine Zodiac sweep hose (part no. W7230204), ready to install.
This sweep hose, also known as a tentacle or sweep tail, attaches to the rear of the Polaris pool cleaner.
It moves behind the cleaner and sweeps the floor and walls with a stream of water.
Dirt is loosened, making it easier for the cleaner to pick it up.
The part comes complete with the hose, connectors, blue rings, and a brush at the end of the hose.
It is compatible with Polaris 180, 280, 280 Tanktrax, 380, and 480 Pro pool cleaners.
⭐ Tip from the team: Replace the sweep hose as soon as it develops a crack or the brush becomes worn. A damaged hose sweeps less effectively and leaves debris at the bottom of the pool.
Description
A Genuine Part for Your Polaris Pool Cleaner
The complete W7230204 sweep hose is the genuine Zodiac part for Polaris pool cleaners.
Zodiac is the manufacturer of Polaris pool cleaners: this part matches the original assembly exactly.
What is the sweep hose used for?
The sweep hose is the flexible hose that extends from the back of the pool cleaner.
During cleaning, it moves in all directions behind the cleaner.
Its water jet and brush dislodge debris from the pool floor and walls.
The cleaner can then pick it up more easily.
When should it be replaced?
Over time, the hose hardens, cracks, or leaks, and the brush wears out.
The hose then sweeps less effectively, and debris remains on the bottom.
With this complete sweeping hose, you can replace all parts at once.
