Replacement Cover for Berlin Sand Filter

This genuine Astralpool cover (part number 4404070102) replaces the cover on your Berlin sand filter when it is cracked, warped, or leaking.
It fits Berlin and Viena Side filters with diameters ranging from 500 to 900 mm.

It comes with a 230 x 8 mm gasket, nuts, washers, and caps.
The cover is made of black thermoplastic, which is highly resistant and durable.

Note: This cover is compatible with several sizes of Berlin filters. The included gasket (230 x 8 mm) does not fit all models.

Before ordering, check the diameter and thickness of your filter’s original gasket.
The pressure gauge (1/8-inch thread) is not included: please purchase it separately.

The cover seals the top of the sand filter. A cracked or warped cover causes leaks and a loss of pressure.

This Astralpool cover is the manufacturer’s original part.
It replaces the older Hydroswim model 10004408.

Replacing the Cover

Turn off the filter pump before performing any work.
Close the valves and let the filter pressure drop to zero.
Remove the old cover, clean the gasket seating area, then install the new cover with a gasket that fits your filter.
