Square-Cross-Section Lid Gasket for Emaux SMG Sand Filter

The Emaux square-section gasket that ensures a watertight seal on your filter lid.

This gasket is installed between the lid and the tank of Emaux Superpool SMG sand filters manufactured from 2005 to 2010.
It has a square cross-section: it is not an O-ring (round).
Outer diameter: 240 mm.

⭐ Tip from the team: Check the shape of your old gasket before ordering. Newer SMG filters (post-2010) use a round O-ring, which is different from this one.

Compatibility

Emaux Superpool SMG sand filters manufactured from 2005 to 2010 (SMG500, SMG650, SMG750, SMG900 series).
These filters were also sold under the name Monarch Propure: the gasket is compatible with models equipped with a square-seal lid.

Installation

Stop the filtration cycle and close the valves.
Unscrew the filter cover and remove the old gasket.
Clean the groove and the cover (sand, deposits).
Place the new gasket flat, without twisting it.
Screw the cover back on without using excessive force, then restart the system and check for leaks.

ℹ️ Good to know:
A crushed, cracked, or hardened gasket causes water leaks and air ingress at the cover.
