Vitamin C for guinea pigs 250 ml
Guinea pigs don't synthesize vitamin C, yet it's essential for them: a vitamin C deficiency can lead first to fatigue, locomotor difficulties and reduced appetite, and then to more serious symptoms if it persists.
A healthy guinea pig's daily vitamin C requirement is 20mg/kg.
This requirement triples during illness, convalescence, gestation and lactation (60mg/kg).
Can be administered directly into the mouth or mixed into drinking water.
