LDPE polyethylene tubing for micro-irrigation, Ø 25 mm, 6 bar, 50-meter roll - Elydan
Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) tubing, 25 mm diameter, for micro-irrigation, 50-meter roll
This Elydan low-density polyethylene (LDPE) tubing is designed for micro-irrigation: supplying drippers, micro-sprinklers, and irrigation lines in vegetable gardens, flower beds, or along hedges.
Outer diameter 25 mm, wall thickness 2.8 mm (SDR 9), nominal pressure 6 bar. It is supplied in 50-meter coils, black in color, with the red label indicating compliance with the NF T 54-071 standard.
LDPE is flexible: it unrolls and lays out easily, even around curves.
Description
A flexible tube for micro-irrigation systems
Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) is more flexible than high-density polyethylene (HDPE). It easily follows the contours of a garden and can be worked with without special tools. It is the standard tubing used in drip irrigation and micro-sprinkler systems.
Specifications
Dimensions
Outer diameter: 25 mm. Wall thickness: 2.8 mm. Length: 50 m, in a coil.
Pressure
Nominal pressure (PN): 6 bar. The SDR 9 corresponds to the ratio of the outer diameter to the wall thickness: a thick wall for a pipe of this diameter.
Material, Color, and Standard
Low-density polyethylene (LDPE), black. Red label, NF T 54-071 standard.
ℹ️ Good to Know
The nominal pressure is the water pressure the pipe can withstand continuously. Make sure your system’s pressure does not exceed 6 bar; a pressure reducer is often useful in micro-irrigation.
⭐ Tip from the team
Use fittings designed for polyethylene tubing with an outer diameter of 25 mm. For a drip irrigation system, use this tubing as the main line and connect smaller branch lines to it.
