Description

FRANCODEX VITAMIN C FRIANDISES are an original way to provide your guinea pig with his daily dose of vitamin C.
They can be used as the main source of vitamin C, or as a supplement to another source of vitamin C (liquid, fresh vegetables, tablets, etc.).
A healthy guinea pig's daily vitamin C requirement is 20mg/kg.
This requirement triples during illness, convalescence, gestation and lactation (60mg/kg).
Maintenance: guinea pig < 1 kg: 2 treats per day; guinea pig > 1 kg: 3 treats per day.
During convalescence, gestation and lactation: triple the dose, i.e. 6 treats a day.
It is preferable to wait until the end of the weaning period (10 weeks of age) before giving treats to young rodents.
This complementary food should not replace a balanced diet.
Use within one month of opening.
Provide fresh water as required.
When used in conjunction with other vitamin C supplements, take care to respect recommended daily doses.
Keep out of reach of children.
Store in a cool, dry place. Not for human consumption.
